We went to the Western Provence Tennis Club -its really WP Cricket Club, including Squash and Hockey, also includes Gym and Swimming. It is in Newlands in beautiful surroundings.
David is very keen to play a lot of challenging tennis while he is here and they will give him International membership for about R800 and a joining fee. One of his old tennis buddies - back in the day - is a member.

Raining today, just softly. About 6.30 on New year's Day there was a loud clap of thunder which woke me with a start. Storm came rushing into the bed room wimpering and tried to hide under the bedside table. she was very scared. It doesn't bother Tequi at all.

I've taken a few shots of David - trying to find the right room with the best light, this was the Trophy Room late afternoon. Must try some outside with the 200mm lens for a blurred background.

Spent a quiet New Year's Eve at home and watched the Royal Variety Show. Lunch with Audrey today.

Green Eyes

The beautiful green eyes certainly DO have it here! I hope you are having a wonderful time in Germany Lolipop - miss you!
Seems most of the Family is away in far places now. I wish all of you a very Happy New Year filled with Joy and Peace .... and lots of exciting things of course.

Are you getting my comments on your Photography Blog? I mentioned that Luke looks like Uncle Paddy in the shot with Eden and Caleb. When Uncle Paddy was a young man of course.

The flash popped up when I took this in Portrait mode.

I didn't much like the colours and even though I tried corrcting them - they still weren't right.

So tried soft focus

a warmish B/W and Sepia.

Both seem good, its just a matter of preference.

My gorgeous niece with her amzing little grand daughter.

This is for you Marcelle! How was the Family Shoot with Jo-Ann? I'm really looking forward to seeing the photos - keep looking on FB but nothing yet. Have you had a peek at them? I know Jo-Ann is very busy doing all her editing, so maybe we should be patient.

Haven't taken any more pics as yet, I need a model. I did ask Dianne (David's Ex girlfriend) to pose for me some time ago so I'll get in touch with her soon.
